This was the perfect little getaway spot. My husband and I loved the cottage, enjoyed sitting outdoor at the fire pit by the lake, and were very grateful for all of the recommendations by Dan and his wife. Would definitely recommend!

This is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation for one or two people. It was windy while I was there so I couldn't enjoy being outside as much as I would have hoped. But the grounds were beautiful and the view of the lake each morning from the kitchen was wonderful. I would return again and again!!! My only suggestion would be to add something to drain pasta. :-)

I ended up staying at the Lemon Drop Cottage and this was the cleanest AirBnb I have ever been too. It was very charming and so well thought through, you had absolutely everything you needed and even complimentary shampoos and conditioners to get you situated which really surprised me. Their check out directions surprised me even more bc they basically said leave it as is we have a cleaning service. There was zero stress with check in and check out. ZERO. Place was super easy to find, and it’s a small town so no traffic. The area itself is very quiet and has a beautiful direct view of the lake. Although we explored the town, morning coffee with the view of the lake and the sound of the waves was the most healing experience one could ask for. I HIGHLY recommend this place. There are two other cottages there too so it’s even perfect to rent as a weekend getaway with family & friends. The host even got a bonfire going for us and my daughter and I couldn’t have been more happy.

I loved staying at the lemon drop cottage with my kiddo! It had all the cozy comfort we were looking for. We loved being able to walk right down to the shore and launch our paddle board!

I celebrated my 70th birthday with my youngest daughter at the Lemon Drop. Everything was excellent and exceeded my expectations. There was a bottle of wine on the kitchen table waiting for me. The place was super clean, right by the Lake. Dan came out and introduced himself. Brenda later came out and helped us start a fire to watch the lake and the sunset. They were super friendly & accommodating with any questions or help I needed. I would highly recommend staying here, & I'll definitely be back. My daughter is planning on coming back with her partner. All had a grand 70th birthday celebration.
